Chien blanc

United States. Racial tensions after the assassination of Martin Luther King are burning the country. Romain Gary and his wife, Jean Seberg, take in an abandoned dog, exclusively trained to attack black people: “a white dog”. Romain, a humanist and animal lover, refuses to have the dog euthanized, at the risk of jeopardizing the balance of his relationship with Jean, a civil rights activist and very active in the Black Panthers. Based on the autobiographical novel by Romain Gary, “White Dog”.
