Rosalie

Rosalie is a young woman in 1870 France, but she is not like other young women. She hides a secret: since birth, her face and body have been covered in hair. Fearing rejection, she has always had to shave. Until the day Abel, a debt-ridden café owner, marries her for her dowry without knowing her secret. But Rosalie wants to be seen as a woman, despite her difference, which she no longer wants to hide. By letting her beard grow, she’s finally freeing herself.
