Zig is a “loulou” as they are called in Martinique. He has been living with his mother for eight months, hanging out with his friends and fishing for shellfish which he sells in restaurants. When his girlfriend finds out that she is pregnant, for Zig it is an opportunity to change his life, to have a responsibility, to play a role. Motivated by the idea of being a father, he looked for serious work but was quickly knocked against the wall. No one sees him as anything but a thug.
