Retour à Ithaque

Une terrasse qui domine la Havane, le soleil se couche. Cinq amis sont réunis pour fêter le retour d’Amadeo après 16 ans d’exil. Du crépuscule à l’aube, ils évoquent leur jeunesse, la bande qu’ils formaient alors la foi dans l’avenir qui les animait … mais aussi leur désillusion d’aujourd’hui.

A terrace overlooking Havana, the sun is setting. Five friends are gathered to celebrate the return of Amadeo after 16 years of exile. From dusk to dawn, they evoke their youth, the band they formed then, the faith in the future that animated them… but also their disillusionment today.
